Embroidery as an art of embellishment has long crossed the boundaries of feminine quarters and sensibilities to become revolutionised as a major fashion and marketing tool. So much so that it has even entered the modern corporate world as a method of endorsing various brands and company names. Most companies and firms today have their own dressing regulations and embroidery is but another step towards marking their distinctive identity. Logos are what help to differentiate different brands from one another and incorporating embroidery with it is gradually becoming popular.

Business and professional wear can include caps and t-shirts. Though caps need not be part of everyday work wear it is definitely a very clever way of marketing and promoting business. Often at large business conferences where several different companies are participating, it is often difficult to distinguish one from the other. Therefore in such cases, having the company brand or logo embroidered on the t-shirt/shirt or cap is, needless to say, highly useful. Not only does it help the company to stand out but is a highly practical method too. Also, wearing caps and shirts with the company’s name and logo embroidered has become a norm for all the activities carried out by organizations outside of the office premises.

When it comes to choosing what kind of designs are best suited for the company or brand it is very important for it to fit the logo. There should be harmony between the design selected and the company or brand’s insignia. Subtlety and sophistication must be maintained while embroidering the design since its purpose must always be borne in mind. Similar practice should be maintained even when choosing the colours—flashy colours and extravagant designs must be avoided at all cost. Sometimes companies have their own motto and creating a design that incorporates it is also a mark of intelligent creativity.

The placement of these designs on the t-shirt is perhaps best on the front pocket and for caps the front and tail should be given preference since it must catch the eye immediately or else the purpose would be lost.

There are many companies who deal with the production and manufacture of such products, so acquiring them is no longer an issue. One cost-cutting method is to select the appropriate embroidery pattern from the internet and then issuing the designing companies to make them instead of relying on them for the designs as well. Moreover this provides a personal element as well.

Although embroidering designs may seem tedious, time-consuming and more expensive than digital prints they most certainly display a greater sense of sophistication and elegance. It is definitely removed from the mass produced printed products. Thus embroidered company logos on caps and tees are definitely going that extra mile which puts the company in a better light as it demonstrates the care that it invests in every aspect of its business.
